New Smyrna Beach Housing Authority FY25 Moving to Work Supplement to the Annual Plan

The New Smyrna Beach Housing Authority (NSBHA) is seeking public input on its FY25 Moving to Work (MTW) Supplement to the Annual Plan.  The MTW Program is designed to (1) reduce costs and achieve greater cost effectiveness in federal expenditures, (2) increase self-sufficiency among families served, and (3) increase housing choices for low-income families. The Supplement outlines the MTW strategies, proposed activities, and uses MTW funds for the periods of April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025. 

The public comment period will begin Monday, September 25, 2023, and end Monday, November 13, 2023. NSBHA will conduct a public hearing Monday, November 13, 2023, at 5:30pm at 210 Sams Ave, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168.  The NSBHA's Board of Commissioners will receive verbal and/ or written comments on the Supplement. 

The Supplement will be available for review beginning Monday, September 25, 2023, online at New Smyrna Housing Website and at 1101 S. Dixie Freeway, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168 from 7:30am to 4:30pm. Monday through Thursday and 7:30am to Noon on Friday.

Public participation in the process is encouraged. Attendance at the public hearing is not mandatory. All oral and/or written comments submitted by the close of comment period will be considered. No comments will be considered after the close of the comment period.
