A Message from the Executive Director

Welcome to beautiful sunny New Smyrna Beach and Southeast Volusia County from the Board of Commissioners and staff of New Smyrna Beach Housing.

Our agency's mission is to provide quality, affordable housing for the community with programs that empower families to embrace change, cultivate self-sufficiency, and promote personal and family independence.

Since our founding in 1950, our agency has continued to evolve and introduce new programs as a high-performing agency. In 2021 the agency was selected as a Move to Work agency. As the only small agency in the state of Florida to receive this designation we will work to help our families by bettering their lives as we promote personal, economic, and social upward mobility from subsidized to non-subsidized housing.

Our staff is committed to providing quality services and a professional atmosphere to our employees, partners, and the Southeast Volusia County constituency.
