In this gallery we have photos from various Christmas events. We were able to donate Christmas bags with the help of Coronado Community United Methodist Church. We also donated Christmas boxes to residents. We got festive for the office Christmas party and threw a party for the children in public housing as well. With the help of donors, sponsors, staff, and volunteers we were able to make this holiday truly special for so many families in our community.

We were blessed to be able to have hosted yet another Toys for Tots Drive with the help of many donors, sponsors, volunteers, and NSBHA staff. The holiday season is a season of giving and we are grateful to have the ability to give to our community. Thank you.

Welcome back to another year of Toys for Tots! We served ninety families in the Volusia area this year! We are thankful to all our community partners, Toys for Tots, sponsors and our staff for making everyone's Christmas a great one this year!

Lindsey is back for another fun season of elf madness! He has been resting all year dreaming of sugar plums and gum drops. He is well rested and back in action to watch of NSBH Staff and report back to Santa! Stay tuned for all his adventures!

Toys for Tots Drive. During this season of giving, we were elated to be distributing toys to our community for another year. We our very grateful to be able to host this event again. Our Toys for Tots distribution would not have happened without numerous donations and sponsors. Thank you to the New Smyrna Beach Housing Authority Staff, Home Depot New Smyrna Beach, The Rotary Club of New Smyrna Beach, Frozen Shutter Fotos, Steve Weaver, Joyce Tubulin, Dr. Long, Rooted Five Palms, our numerous volunteers, and Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church for providing a beautiful facility.

On February 2nd, 2018, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the opening of the newly-renovated Community Resource Center in New Smyrna Beach. New Smyrna Beach city officials, including Mayor Jim Hathaway, Zone 4 Commissioner Randy Hartman, Donna Banks, and Tony Otte with Community Redevelopment were in attendance to celebrate, as well as Volusia County officials, staff from the New Smyrna Beach Housing Authority, and many of our tenants. The center has replaced the Housing Authority's Resident Council building (formerly the police substation) and is located at 600 Greenlawn St. in New Smyrna.
