NEW SMYRNA BEACH HOUSING AUTHORITY

FY26 MOVING TO WORK SUPPLEMENT

TO THE ANNUAL PLAN

The New Smyrna Beach Housing Authority (NSBHA) is seeking public input on its FY26 Moving to Work (MTW) Supplement to the Annual Plan. The MTW Program is designed to (1) reduce costs and achieve greater cost effectiveness in federal expenditures, (2) increase self-sufficiency among families served, and (3) increase housing choices for low-income families. The Supplement outlines the MTW strategies, proposed activities, and uses of MTW funds for the period of April1, 2025, to March 31st, 2026.

The public comment period will begin Friday, September 27th, 2024, and end Monday, November 11th, 2024. NSBHA will conduct a public hearing Monday, November 11th, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. at 210 Sams Ave., New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168. The NSBHA's Board of Commissioners will receive verbal and/or written comments on the Supplement.

The Supplement will be available for reviewing beginning Friday, September 27th, 2024, at 1101 S. Dixie Freeway, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Public participation in the process is encouraged. Attendance at the public hearing is not mandatory. All oral and/or written comments submitted by the close of the comment period will be considered. No comments will be considered after the close of the comment period.
